Green hot sauce is a cherished concept here at Tangled Antler. We wanted to stay true to the classic tomatillo based sauce, but give our own flare to it. Opting for a white vinegar base, we began experimenting with various peppers. We ended up going with roasted Shishito chilis because we're obsessed with the popper appetizer version, and combined them with green Habaneros for heat and jalapeños and shallots for body. We paired ripe tomatillos with grilled pineapple, garlic, and cilantro to find our unique charm, and never looked back.
